One of our specialties at Cothrun Manufacturing is assistance with developing and making your invention, idea, or product a reality. Whether it be taking your existing prototype and developing a manufacturing strategy, or taking your ideas from a scribble on a bar napkin and developing it into a functioning prototype to show to your investors.
We utilize NDA's (Non Disclosure Agreement) documents so your product is kept confidential and the integrity of your work can be preserved without worry that it will be stolen by outside companies. This also prevents the start of your one year public disclosure term in US patent law from going into effect. Meaning our time together is treated as a closed meeting or non public.
In doing this, we promise that your idea and the security of your project is maintained. We use a secure hard drive that is only linked to one computer and cannot be accessed by anyone but myself. In addition, any documentation is locked in a secure file cabinet and the only copies made are shared between you and myself (and your patent agent).

As we grow our shop we are always looking to see what tool will best serve our clients, currently it seems as though a large format 3D printer that had a work area of 24"x 24" x 24" with a second head for printing water soluble support materials, and a material library ranging from various colors of PLA, ABS, PETG, and flexible materials such as TPU and Nylons.
